The park itself is nice, however, there should be a capacity limit. Too many people in the park, bathhouse facilities were very dirty. I will go back but not at peak times.

Friendly park hosts and staff was very helpful. Lots of upkeep constantly going on, good to see people take pride in the park.

I have gone here for years! Honestly i was a bit annoyed this time. We had to go spend money on ant killer to spray everything down because ants were everywhere and we, mostly my 10 year old, are highly allergic. He was bitten so bad within the first hour his feet and ankles were super swollen.

Also the restrooms were covered with black widow spiders. NOT one or 2..but 15 plus! EVERYWHERE! This is highly unacceptable! It has NEVER been like this before and i hope some thing changes or i can't referr any more guests to y'all nor will we return.

I have been here and happy to say I would recommend this beautiful park to any one who just wants to get sways But still having a fresh cool room to relax in, the restrooms are clean, and the park staff and just down to earth Texans. I have returned every year for the pass 3 years. Go!! It will be one of the best decisions you make.

Lodged in shelters:

Stay during week is best to avoid crowd. Pet friendly cabins available. Pet cabins are updated with metal bunk beds and newer windows.

Was there for a family reunion and the place was great. Ac cabins was also great. This path I was very impressed with. The lake was very warm too

Always have a great experience here.

Lake level great (Nov 2017)
